While, out of the total population, only 24% of the population is financially literate. This reveals the pressing need to educate the masses about finance and savings."

 

The Fincon (Finance-Economic) Club comprises of three high school students helping and learning with other economic students and high school students. We aim:

​

  • To build a community to share useful resources, articles and advice to survive economics in school. 

  • To simplify information on interesting, unconventional issues and concepts prominent in the economic and business world to share with individuals who want to become more financially literate but don’t have the time to decode the Financial Times or spend days learning about the stock market. 

  • To share our own opinions and thoughts on economic problems and issues.

  • To integrate our interests for design and editing with economics

  • To prepare younger students for economics in high school and the job prospects it brings through interviews and webinars with experts.
